Since the ban on keratin hair smoothing products containing formaldehyde two years ago, we have not had any real success with replacement products. Always on the lookout for a non-chemical solution for our clients, I have heard that the SteamPod by L’Oréal is coming to Canada. The system is a big success worldwide and will soon be available here. I can’t even express how much I can’t wait to get my hands on it:

The SteamPod is a “miracle” solution for those who have tried everything to discipline their frizzy hair. The SteamPod gives hair lasting smoothness and styling that holds but also nurtures it by infusing serum and keratin into the hair shaft — in just one application.

I don’t have the exact launch date for Montreal yet. But I’m hoping to see, and especially, to try the SteamPod late next week in Paris during the presentation of the fall-winter collection of Haute Coiffure Française.

Éric Zemmour, who appears in the video, is also a member of HCF’s design team. He has used the system for several months in his salons. I can’t wait to hear what he has to say, just as much as I can’t wait to share my first impressions with you.

Don’t miss it!

P.S: Have a look at Nikki Parkinson’s photos posted in early July to see why I think this solution is so promising. Her hair is still smooth on day four!

Nikki a essayé le SteamPod. Voyez les résultats sur les 3 jours qui suivent le traitement.
